In the book Echo, there are many important scenes to the book. One of the most important parts of the book is when a boy that Friedrich knows, invites him to a Nazi-youth meeting. Fearing the sake of his family, Friedrich says that he will attend the meeting while he is trying to escape and rescue his dad from a concentration camp. The boy tells his uncle who is the commander in chief of the German police, tells his uncle that they are trying to escape Germany. When Friedrich and his uncle go to get to get his dad back, they get on the train to go to their destination. While on the train, they spot Friedrich on the rain. When they spot him, they try to go and capture and his uncle. At the end, they just take his uncle instead of Friedrich.
